A House subcommittee will hold a hearing next week on a draft discussion bill released Thursday that would substantially alter the US’s primary chemicals law just 10 years after Congress overhauled that statute.
The draft Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) bill would speed the approval of new chemicals and narrow the scope of health or environmental concerns the Environmental Protection Agency could raise about them.
