The Energy Department has agreed to invest $27 million in financial and technical assistance awarded through the Energy Future Grants Program, according to a Thursday news release.
The grants are going to 40 partner teams of states, local governments, and tribes, according to the DOE. Energy Future Grants aim to support multijurisdictional partnerships focused on clean energy programs that enhance energy affordability, access, and opportunities for communities.
