Denmark Targets Emissions Reduction of up to 54% by 2025

Denmark is ramping up efforts to cut greenhouse gas emissions, after lawmakers pressured the government to target more ambitious goals.

Parliament agreed to reduce Denmark’s carbon footprint by 50-54% by 2025, according to a statement on Friday. That’s more than the 46-50% the Social Democrat government had aimed for.
