Delta Air Lines Sued Over Promoting ‘Carbon-Neutral’ Status (1)

Delta Air Lines has misrepresented itself as a carbon-neutral airline, a California resident said in a proposed class action lawsuit filed Tuesday.

The airline’s promoted carbon-neutral status is false because Delta’s investments in carbon offsetting would’ve had to completely balance out the carbon emitted from the company since March 2020 when Delta first claimed to be carbon neutral, the complaint says.
