Environmental groups on Wednesday lost their bid to stop a large deepwater oil facility off the coast of Texas from being constructed by a unit of Enterprise Products Partners LP.
The Transportation Department “adequately considered the environmental consequences of the facility before approving its deepwater port license,” Judge Dana M. Douglas of the US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit said.
