Days Before ‘Trial of the Year,’ Gas-Exporters Settle Feud

A bitter, multiyear dispute between major figures in the nascent U.S. gas-export industry has ended just days before a high-profile trial was set to begin in Houston.

Cheniere Energy Inc. dismissed all claims against its founder -- entrepreneur Charif Souki -- as well as Tellurian Inc. and Tellurian Vice Chairman Martin Houston, according to an email from Cheniere and a separate Tellurian statement on Thursday.
