Data Backs Biden Claim That Red States Want Infrastructure Funds

President Joe Biden said Republican-led states want projects under the infrastructure law, and surveys of new projects support the claim.

“I still get asked to fund the projects in those districts,” Biden said during Tuesday night’s State of the Union address, referring to parts of the country whose Republican lawmakers voted against the $1.2 trillion bill. “But don’t worry.
