The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s approval for Driftwood LNG LLC’s Louisiana pipelines was upheld by the D.C. Circuit on Friday.
The court rejected arguments that FERC failed to comply with certain requirements of the the National Environmental Policy Act and the Natural Gas Act, such as considering the project’s effects on upstream greenhouse gas emissions and properly weighing economic need with environmental effects.
