D.C. Circuit Judges Appear Divided in Fight Over Climate Grants

A federal appeals court seemed somewhat split in arguments Monday over the legality of the EPA’s attempt to withdraw billions of dollars in Biden-era climate grants issued to green banks.

At stake are the green banks’ ability to survive and keep funding local projects that fight climate change, balanced against the Environmental Protection Agency’s concerns about unacceptable risks of waste, fraud, and abuse.
