Court Brawl Over California Vehicle Emissions Waiver Put on Ice

A federal appeals court in Washington D.C. paused litigation Monday over a contentious Trump administration action that stripped California of its waiver to set its own greenhouse gas vehicle standards.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit placed in abeyance the consolidated cases over the waiver revocation while the Biden administration reviews car rules and other environmental standards promulgated under President Donald Trump.
