Conservation Groups Drop Alaska LNG Environmental Review Case

Environmental groups are letting go of their challenge to federal reviews of how a liquefied natural gas project in Alaska will affect local endangered species.

The unopposed voluntary dismissal motion was filed Tuesday with the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

  • The Center for Biological Diversity and the Sierra Club in May 2024 sued the US Fish and Wildlife Service and National Marine Fisheries Service for allegedly inadequate environmental analyses
