Companies Say Integrated Reporting Leads To Better Internal Understanding of Business

Companies that combine sustainability and financial reports say that the process leads to better quality data collection and a deeper internal knowledge of the entire business, according to a report by the International Integrated Reporting Council.

Integrated reporting, or combining sustainability and financial performance information in a single annual report, will also significantly benefit analysts, according to Understanding Transformation: Building the Business Case for Integrated Reporting, which was released Nov. 12.
