Colonial Pipeline Co. restarted the largest US fuel pipeline Friday after completing repairs on a leak that shut the line earlier in the week.
“Colonial Pipeline safely completed repairs Friday morning on our gasoline pipeline, Line 1, in Paulding County, Ga., and returned the line to service,” the company said in emailed statement to Bloomberg.
The company’s Line 1 transports 1.5 million barrels a day of gasoline from Texas to North Carolina.
