Clean energy groups on Monday urged Congress to enact President Joe Biden’s plan to decarbonize the power sector by 2035 and ensure investment benefits flow to low-income and minority populations.
Thirty states require some renewable energy to power grids, according to the state and regional groups, including the Chesapeake Climate Action Network on the East Coast and Climate Solutions based in Oregon and Washington.
