Clean Power Lobbying Group Names Policy Veteran as New CEO

The American Clean Power Association lobbying group has picked Jason Grumet, co-founder of the Bipartisan Policy Center, as its new chief executive officer, citing his record of building relationships on both sides of the political aisle.

Grumet starts Jan. 23, leading an industry group that represents more than 750 companies involved in the clean energy transition. He succeeds Heather Zichal, a White House energy and climate adviser to former President Barack Obama, who left the organization earlier this year to become global head of sustainability at JPMorgan Chase.
