A real estate developer alleged a Clarios International Co. unit misrepresented contamination a former lead-acid battery factory’s cleanup when it sold the property in a new suit.

Clarios LLC misrepresented the remediation of lead pollution at one of the world’s largest car battery producers in Middletown, Del., defrauding both Douglas Development Corp. and environmental agencies, according to a suit filed Thursday in the US District Court for the District of Delaware.
