China’s Goldwind Eyes Overseas Wind Farms

China’s biggest wind turbine maker is considering more projects overseas to show its technology can compete globally.

Xinjiang Goldwind Science & Technology Co. may use self-developed wind farms to demonstrate its turbines in new markets and has opened offices in Brazil, Argentina and Turkey in the past year, according to Andreas Dupuis, deputy general manager of subsidiary Goldwind International Holdings (HK) Ltd. The most attractive markets next year are in the Americas and Europe, he said.
