ComEd Four Guilty on All Counts in Chicago Bribery Trial (1)

A group of former Commonwealth Edison executives and lobbyists has been found guilty of participating in an eight-year-long conspiracy to bribe former Illinois House Speaker Michael Madigan (D) to advance the utility company’s legislative agenda.

Long-time ComEd lobbyist Michael McClain was found guilty on four counts of bribery and four counts of falsifying records in violation of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.

ComEd’s former CEO, Anne Pramaggiore, was found guilty on four counts of bribery and four counts of falsifying records.
