Chevron Urges Judge to Toss New Mexico Drilling Permits Suit

Conservation groups failed to show how permits to drill in New Mexico’s Permian Basin will cause them harm or contribute to global climate change, and therefore, their claims challenging the permits must be dismissed, Chevron USA Inc. plans to tell a federal judge in Washington, D.C.
