Chemical manufacturers and distributors will have to meet new federal requirements for labeling hazards on commercial products, under a final OSHA rule released Friday.
The rule is intended to improve the protection of workers and align US requirements closer to international guidance set by the United Nations in 2017. The regulation takes effect July 19.
