California is suing the Trump administration for ordering the restart of the Sable Offshore Corp. oil and gas pipeline system that was shut down following a massive 2015 oil spill.
“The pipeline operator restarted pumping oil through pipelines despite an outstanding preliminary injunction in state court, despite not having necessary permits from either the state or the federal government,” the state said in its complaint filed Tuesday with the US District Court for the Central District of California.
