California health officials said Tuesday they have indefinitely postponed a decision on whether to list acetaminophen as a carcinogen until concerns about the coronavirus have ended.
The pain reliever and fever reducer made popular by brands like Tylenol has been under review by an independent scientific panel to determine if it should be listed under the state’s Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act, known as Proposition 65.
