California CDTFA Announces Relief for Taxpayers Affected by Hill, Woolsey, Camp Fires

The California Department of Tax and Fee Administration Nov. 1 announced that the Governor issued emergency proclamations for Los Angeles, Ventura, and Butte counties due to the effects of the Hill, Woolsey, and Camp fires. Emergency tax or fee relief is available for business owners and tax and fee payers directly affected by disasters declared as state of emergencies. Relief may include sales and use and excise tax return due date extensions, penalty and interest relief, or replacement copies of records lost due to disasters. [Cal.
