Boeing Hit With Lawsuit Over Los Angeles Waterways Pollution

Boeing Co. allegedly violates federal water pollution laws by discharging contaminated stormwater from its Santa Susana Field Laboratory facility into Los Angeles-area waterways, according to a new lawsuit.

Los Angeles Waterkeeper said Boeing violated the Clean Water Act and its federal discharge permits by releasing polluted stormwater containing metals, chemicals, and other contaminants into waterways that flow to the Los Angeles River and Pacific Ocean, in a complaint filed Monday in the US District Court for the Central District of California.
