A metal heat treating company unlawfully discharges pollutants into waterways that flow to the Pacific Ocean, according to a complaint filed in federal court in California.
Bodycote Thermal Processing Inc., which uses heat to improve durability of metals, allows millions of gallons of polluted rainwater to flow from industrial operations at its facility into storm drains and the Bolsa Chica Channel, which eventually empties into the Pacific Ocean at Anaheim Bay, Orange County Coastkeeper alleges in its complaint.
