Blue States Join Challenge to EPA Power Plant Emissions Rule

A group of 21 attorneys from Democratic-led states and localities filed a petition for review Tuesday challenging the EPA’s rollback of a Biden-era air emissions rule.

The attorneys join a growing list of litigants who want the courts to undo the Environmental Protection Agency’s February unwinding of its Mercury and Air Toxics Standards (MATS) rule.
