Now that the White House’s second round of permitting updates is out the door, the Council on Environmental Quality is taking a deep breath to contemplate what else it can get done in the remaining months of President Joe Biden’s first term.
“We’ve just come off of an incredibly busy, I’m going to say, four months,” CEQ Chair Brenda Mallory said on Wednesday. “This is a good time to think about what’s realistic and what other big efforts we want to actually take on.”
