The Senate voted on Wednesday to confirm Radhika Fox, the Biden administration’s nominee to head up the EPA’s Office of Water.
Fox was confirmed by a 55-43 vote, making her the first woman of color and the first person of Asian American descent to lead the Environmental Protection Agency’s water office. The vote came after the Senate voted earlier to invoke cloture on her nomination to cut off debate.
