Biden Vehicle Emissions Rule Draws Lawsuit From State Coalition

The Biden administration’s final emissions rule for cars will force an unrealistic transition to electric vehicles, according to a petition for review filed Thursday by a troop of Republican-led states.

Kentucky Attorney General Russell Coleman (R) leads the suit, which claims that the transition that will result from the rule’s mandates will devastate the American economy. The states—including West Virginia, Louisiana, and others—filed in the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
