President Joe Biden unveiled efforts Thursday across federal agencies to boost U.S. sustainable fuels production and help cut aviation emissions 20% by 2030.
The effort aims to ramp up sustainable fuels production to 3 billion gallons and directs the Energy, Transportation, Agriculture, and Defense departments—along with NASA, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the General Services Administration—to work together to increase renewable aviation fuel.
