Biden Nominates Manchin-Backed Picks for Energy Commission (1)

President Joe Biden nominated three people—two Democrats and one Republican—to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on Thursday, in a move to shore up an agency facing the prospect of losing a quorum as soon as June 30.

The White House named Democratic nominee David Rosner, a FERC staff member and detailee to Sen. Joe Manchin’s (D-W.Va.) office; Democrat Judy W. Chang, an energy economist and former Massachusetts undersecretary of energy and climate solutions; and Republican Lindsay S. See, the solicitor general of West Virginia.
