Republican-led states, fuel manufacturers, and alternative fuel growers are pointing to this summer’s landmark Supreme Court ruling to support claims that the EPA overstepped its authority in crafting rules that effectively force vehicle electrification, according to a pair of opening briefs.
The petitioners filed their briefs Thursday at the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, opening a consolidated lawsuit that targets the Biden administration’s tailpipe emission standards.
