A Trump-era rule allowing shipments of liquefied natural gas by rail would be suspended under a proposal by the Biden administration, according to a list of forthcoming rules made public by the White House Friday.
- Transportation Department will propose suspending authoritzation of LNG by rail while it completes a new rule that “would incorporate the results of ongoing research efforts” and comply with an executive order requiring the agency to “review recent actions that could be obstacles to Administration policies promoting public health and safety, the environment, climate change mitigation”
