Biden Administration Again Pressed on Dakota Access Pipeline

A federal court is giving the Biden administration a chance to clarify its views on the Dakota Access pipeline, though it’s unclear if the government will take the opportunity.

The U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia on Monday ordered the Army Corps of Engineers to file a status report by May 3 to address when the agency expects to finish a court-ordered environmental analysis for the oil project, and to update the court on its position, “if it has one, on whether an injunction should issue.”
