A Trump administration decision to pause implementation deadlines of Biden-era methane and other emission standards for 18 months would be repealed using the Congressional Review Act under S. J. Res. 76.

The Environmental Protection Agency on July 31 issued an interim rule to delay implementation of a March 2024 regulation that requires newly constructed oil and natural gas facilities to mitigate methane emissions.
