Indigenous and environmental groups lost their challenge to a high-voltage transmission line cutting through the San Pedro Valley in Arizona when a federal court granted two motions to dismiss the case.
The groups failed to state a claim upon which relief can be granted, Judge Jennifer G. Zipps of the US District Court for the District of Arizona said Thursday, approving the dismissal motions by SunZia Transmission LLC and the Department of the Interior.
