The House passed a bill Sept. 12 to ban drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.
H.R. 1146, introduced by Rep. Jared Huffman (D-Calif.) and Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick (R-Pa.), would repeal the oil and gas drilling program in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge created by the 2017 tax law. It passed 225-193, largely along party lines.
