Sam Guthrie has joined Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld as a tax partner in the Washington office, the firm said Wednesday.
Guthrie, who previously worked at Allen & Overy, will focus on projects and energy transition matters, according to Akin.
He has experience on tax structuring for mergers and acquisitions, public and private securities offerings and restructurings, said the firm.
