Air Force Consolidating Environmental Cleanup Contracts

The U.S. Air Force is planning to consolidate a variety of contracts for environmental cleanup work at multiple installations throughout the U.S., according to a presolicitation notice released on Oct. 23. The contract can’t start, however, until a fiscal 2020 appropriations package is signed and the government is no longer funded through a continuing resolution.

The Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) Environmental Construction Optimization Services (BECOS) contract will cover remediation efforts at 40 installations covered by the BRAC process.
