Agriculture Nonprofits Sue USDA Over Canceled Climate Grants

The US Department of Agriculture was hit with another suit for terminating grants awarded under the Biden Administration by three groups who say the agency failed to justify the cancellations.

The Urban Sustainability Directors Network, Oakville Bluegrass Cooperative and Agroecology Commons said Thursday the agency violated the Constitution’s due process clause as well as the Administrative Procedure Act by terminating over $33 million in funding through vague notice letters, according to a complaint filed in the US District Court for the District of Columbia.
