The Trump administration is continuing its legal fight to block wind and solar projects through several permitting rules across different agencies, according to a new court filing.
The Justice Department notified the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts on Wednesday that it’s appealing a preliminary injunction which barred the implementation of policies including the Federal Lands Anti-Renewable Order and Renewable Bottleneck Memorandum, which mandates that wind and solar approvals be reviewed by senior Interior Department officials.
