Sempra Energy is asking California regulators for permission to pump natural gas back into the biggest gas storage field in the state, saying it has finished testing after a leak that took four months to plug.
Sempra said in a Nov. 1 filing that it had submitted a report on all 114 wells at the Aliso Canyon gas storage site in Southern California, addressing requirements imposed by the state before restart.
