$3M Fracking Verdict Against Aruba Petroleum Reversed

A $3 million jury verdict for a family that claimed Aruba Petroleum Inc. intentionally interfered with their property in its fracking operations was reversed by a Texas appellate court (Aruba Petroleum, Inc. v. Parr, 2017 BL 30588, Tex. App., 5th Dist., 05-14-01285-CV, 2/1/17).

Robert and Lisa Parr didn’t present sufficient evidence that Aruba Petroleum intentionally interfered with the use of their property, the Texas Court of Appeals, Fifth District, ruled Feb. 1 in overturning the 2014 verdict.
