3M, DuPont Face PFAS Cases From Michigan Attorney General (2)

Michigan is heading to court again to try to make 3M Co., E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Co., the Chemours Co., and other PFAS manufacturers and users pay for alleged contamination in the state.

Attorney General Dana Nessel (D) filed two lawsuits in state and federal court Thursday, saying nearly two dozen companies are on the hook for environmental damage from firefighting material called aqueous film-forming foam (AFFF) that contained types of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, or PFAS.
