The Environmental Protection Agency plans to ban sales of the most toxic residential rodenticides as well as sales of pellets and other loose bait for residential use on rats and mice, the agency announced June 7.
The agency also plans to cancel the registrations of several rodenticide products sold to residential customers because the manufacturers have failed to adopt safety measures developed by the agency three years ago, EPA said in its statement.
