BGOV Bill Summary: H.R. 1615, Prohibit CPSC Gas Stove Bans (3)

The Consumer Product Safety Commission would be barred by H.R. 1615 from using federal funds to ban gas stoves as a hazardous product.

The bill would also prohibit the use of funds by the CPSC to impose additional safety standards through the Consumer Product Safety Act that would substantially increase the price of gas stoves.
