The U.S. subsidiary of GardaWorld Security Corp., a Canadian private security firm, fails to properly pay its workers overtime wage rates, according to a new federal class action lawsuit.
Michael Dean Sunderland and Peter John Reiff claim that Garda USA has a policy of refusing to pay overtime wage rates to armored vehicle drivers, messengers, and guards when they work more than forty hours in a week, in violation of Minnesota and federal law,.
GardaWorld describes itself as “the world’s largest privately owned security services company.”
