A California federal district court denied a joint motion for approval of a settlement agreement between First Student Management, LLC and a group of bus drivers on claims that they weren’t being provided all proper wages, reimbursements, and rest breaks, in violation of state law, ruling that the class couldn’t be certified because the class issues weren’t predominate enough, and the amount of money in the settlement wasn’t adequate for, nor equitable towards, all class members.
