A federal district court denied a motion to quash a subpoena served on the University of Utah by a Unique Plumbing, LLC employee alleging Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, 42 U.S.C. § 1981, and Fair Labor Standards Act discrimination, retaliation, and failure to pay claims, where he couldn’t show that disclosing his university personnel records would be harmful, the records aren’t privileged, and state law doesn’t preclude their disclosure.
