The Biden administration plans to make it easier for people to get in-network mental health care by getting tougher on health insurers.
A proposed rule would clarify the obligations of insurance plans to provide mental health benefits comparable to other medical benefits. It was issued Tuesday by the Departments of Labor, Health and Human Services, and the IRS.
